Over these last few months, I have seen quite a few children in my homeopathic practice. They have come in for different reasons, physical issues and emotional or behavioral issues. Often, the physical and emotional issues are connected. It is a totality of the child.
Many of the mothers will say to me, “I feel so bad that my child is in pain, and I don’t know what to do about it.” They say this whether it is a physical or an emotional pain.
My response is, you are doing something. You are hearing them.
These mothers are seeing that something is bothering their child, and seeking help for them by using homeopathy and possibly other healing modalities.
It is wonderful that mothers, fathers and caregivers too, of these children are hearing their child and doing something about it. The child may have not come out and said specifically in words, hey this hurts, or I am upset about, or worried about that, or fearful
about this. They may not say it clearly, yet they are saying it, actually showing it. We just need to hear, listen, observe, watch, witness and love.
These are some of the issues that have brought children in for homeopathic care. Adults can experience these issues too.
- a cold
- a persistent cough
- an infected tooth
- different kinds of skin eruptions
- swollen glands
- stomachaches and digestive issues
- bad breath
- distracted
- anger – screaming, yelling, pushing
- night terrors
- pain when urinating and/or having a bowel movement
- not wanting their mother to leave
- concerned how they will be in new situations
- fearful of something in particular
- wanting things to be a certain way, wanting things not to go out of routine
- grieving for a lost relative
I say often that it is good to bring children in for homeopathic care because it is good to help them when they are so young, before things start to become more ingrained. Children have a strong vital force or chi. They respond well to homeopathy.
