This is a quote from Pema Chodron. I used this quote in a previous post –BE Where You Are. I wanted to use this quote again.
“Welcome the present moment as if you had invited it. It is all we ever have so we might as well work with it rather than struggle against it. We might as well make it our friend and teacher rather than our enemy.”
I like what she says about working with and making the present moment your friend. To use it. To learn from it. To see what it has to offer.
When I see a patient, I am seeing how they are in their present moment. Past illnesses, traumas, emotional upsets, older physical symptoms along with symptoms or the health issue they brought the patient make up this present moment. I call this present moment, the totality of the person. Totalities change, just like present moments change.
The present moment is where we start. It is an unfolding process. Often a series of homeopathic remedies are used as the healing process unfolds. The unfolding reflects a deeper understanding of what the person is experiencing. Each homeopathic remedy helps in this process, moving it along.
THIS PAST YEAR
Over this past year of 2021, I have seen people of all ages, 9 months to 81 years, for many different health issues. Some people sought out homeopathic care for physical issues, and some for emotional issues. Very often, the physical and the emotional issues are interwoven. All the symptoms are part of the totality of the person.
These are some of the health issues that brought people in for homeopathic care during this year of 2021. issues:
Reaction to vaccines
Extreme pain and sensitivity to noise and sounds
First aid – healing from a surgery, fall, cut on an arm
A trauma – emotional, physical
Just not feeling well
I invite you to contact me here on my blog or through my website www.homeopathytoheal.com I offer a complimentary 15 minute Get Acquainted Call. I would be happy to talk with you. I see people in and out of the San Diego area in person and virtually.
