Recently, I was reminded why I practice homeopathy, why I feel it is a “wow”, and why I look at holistic forms of healing as being the main part of my own health care.
A person that knows me very well, said to me, it is your paradigm.
That is true.
It is the way I look at the world. How I perceive and interpret the world. How I perceive healing and being ill.
PARADIGM
The dictionary definition of a paradigm is a model or a pattern. I am extrapolating and saying that a paradigm is the way each of us live in the world – our pattern. It is what we values and what is important to us. In a way, it guides us on how we live our life. When we are true to our paradigm, we are being true to ourselves, respecting, valuing and honoring ourselves. We create and nurture the life we want, attracting people, situations and opportunities that fit our life.
It was good to be reminded of this – of my paradigm. (It is always there, but a light was shone on it. And I think our paradigms grow and evolve over time.)
Sometimes, I have been in situations, and my response has been to go along with what I have been told, taking on the fear and the negativity of the situation. Feeling that I have to do what others expect of me, or do what others are doing. Actually, in those times I may be going against my core beliefs and values, against my paradigm. This is hard in some situations, and is hard in health issues, because we are told that these treatments are what make people healthy, or these numbers from a test mean and show _______ or we see a commercial in the media or a news reports for a medication and more.
Presently with the coronavirus, we hear so much, from different sources – mainstream news, out of the box news, health alternative news, and “conspiracies” ideas. At these times, I come back to what I know – homeopathy, it’s principles and what it offers to people for their health.
One night about a month ago, I felt more unsettled than I usually have. I didn’t know what to believe or think from what I was hearing. I reminded myself how homeopathy is my foundation, and came back to that – that I believe in homeopathy and what I know.
I have mentioned to you in other posts that I have been viewing many webinars given by homeopaths from all over world about the cornonavisus and how homeopathy can be helpful. Homeopathy is very helpful during this this time. We don’t hear about how homeopathy is helpful in the news.
I am not saying that you need to have homeopathy or any other holistic form of healing as your paradigm. I am saying to be true to who you are, and to respect others that they are doing the same. Perhaps, this will create a conversation and a dialogue. And eventually heal the divide that we are living in right now.
