Unwanted Behaviors – Such As Biting

On the stats page of my blog, there is a section labelled Search Terms. What is listed there are googled inquires that have led someone to my blog. Recently, someone had googled “biting from anger homeopathy”. I felt that this was an important topic to write about: biting and other unwanted behaviors.

Biting And Unwanted Behaviors

The person who googled this concern may be the person themselves, a family member or a friend of someone who is biting. It could be a child or an adult who is manifesting this behavior. The person could be biting themselves, and/or biting others. This could happen when they are feeling sand-spiralangry, and is expressed outwardly at another person or expressed inwardly, by biting themselves. There may be other emotions, behaviors and symptoms associated with this behavior.

You can see that it is not just simply one thing – someone biting or someone feeling angry. This behavior, like any behavior that is unwanted, obsessive, or uncontrollable, is a piece or a part of the whole picture of the person. Everything is connected, making up the totality and the whole of the person.

These are some other behaviors that may be unwanted, obsessive and uncontrollable:

  • biting, kicking, hitting, pinching
  • self-destructive behaviors: cutting, over eating, not eating enough, bulimia
  • obsessive/compulsive behaviors – washing hands, checking locks and other things excessively, hording

Two Examples Of Biting

To continue the thought that it isn’t simply one thing, biting or being angry, here are two examples of biting and anger. You can see how different these two are. Biting or unwanted behaviors could be an expression of anger, fear, a way of defending oneself and a response to pain. For example:

  • A teething baby could be biting because of the pain and discomfort felt in their gums. The biting actually may ease the pain. The baby may be expressing anger from being in such intense pain.
  • A child feels threatened, and feels they need to lash out and defend themselves. This lashing out may manifest in biting.

Homeopathy

To address the second part of the inquiry – “biting from anger homeopathy” – yes, homeopathy can be very helpful when someone is biting and/or someone is feeling very angry. When I meet with a patient, I am finding out about what bothers them, which is what brought them in to homeopathy. In this case, I would want to know how the person experiences biting and feeling anger, along with finding out more about them as a whole, such as other symptoms, fears, dreams, how they respond to things happening in their life and more. All of these are pieces that make up a whole picture.

From this whole picture, a homeopathic remedy is given that is similar to what they are experiencing. The homeopathic remedy stimulates the person’s own healing process.

I want to say that homeopathy is not counseling, therapy nor any kind of psychological treatment. Homeopathy is its own form of holistic medicine, looking at each person as the individual they are. Homeopathy and counseling/therapy can work very well together, helping and healing the individual. Each of these two healing modalities addresses and helps a person in different ways.

What The Body Feels And Says

“The whole body weeps when it is invaded.”

This line is from the book BUDDHA IN THE WAITING ROOM written by Paul Brenner. MD. When I read this line, I cried. It touched something in me personally, and I think it probably does for other people as well.

This line is in a paragraph in which Dr. Brenner is writing about the implications someoneĀ  trees-1767119__480would experience after having surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy. It could also be when someone has experienced any kind of abuse, emotional damage, physical pain or trauma, an on going physical condition, mental pain and more. It pertains to any kind of “invasion”.

What struck me about this line, was not the being invaded, but that the body weeps. To me it meant that the body, the whole being of the person, has some recall, memory, or retention of something happening to it. That even though time has passed, and the person is doing well in their life and in their health, there may be some lingering of the past, and is expressed in symptoms, discomfort, pain, emotions, anything. To me this is what the weeping means.

The weeping may be a way of asking for help, for help in a healing, a deep healing at the root cause. The weeping is saying, hey, I am still here, listen to me, listen to what I have to say, and help me heal.

There are a lot of different healing modalities. The best are the ones that resonate with you. And possibly that means resonates with the weeping, to help to hear what the body is saying.

If I can be of any help, homeopathically, please contact me here through this blog, or through my website www.homeopathytoheal.com.

And I suggest Dr. Paul Brenner’s book BUDDHA IN THE WAITING ROOM.

Why Do I Practice Homeopathy?

Why do I practice homeopathy?

I feel that people are looking for a natural, non-invasive, deep healing modality. They may be tired of not feeling well, and tired of taking medications that are not really healing. And they want to be better.

Why do I practice homeopathy?

It is to offer a healing modality that truly is healing. Healing at the root cause from which umbrella-1521492_1280the symptoms, and the discomfort and the pains come from.

Why do I practice homeopathy?

Because I see as people heal and are doing better, they are more at ease to be fully themselves, and are no longer being limited by a physical symptom or an emotional stuckness.

Why do I practice homeopathy?

I see people as they heal, through the help of homeopathy, being able to use other healing modalities in a much more constructive and positive way.

Why do I practice homeopathy?

It makes sense to me. It resonates with me. It is a WOW to me.
