I was in New York City last week, visiting my father and stepmother. This trip was the inspiration for today’s blog post. I enjoyed my visit with them.
Each of us want to help our family and our friends with their health, especially if they are not feeling well. We want them to eat well; sleep well; exercise; see the doctor when necessary and/or for preventive care; do activities they enjoy; see holistic practitioners, have loving relationships; be happy and more. We want the best for them. And we don’t want to see them suffering, if we know there is a way to help them.
I too want to help my family when they are not well. And I often want to help them by using homeopathy. Sometimes, they take me up on it, and sometimes they don’t.
Our Loved Ones
Frequently, I receive a phone call from a parent, a spouse, an aunt, a grandmother, an adult child, or a good good friend. Each of these callers have a concern about a particular family member, a friend – a loved one. The caller wants to either make an appointment immediately for their loved one, (the caller is is usually a parent) or to talk about their concerns and how homeopathy could be of help for their loved one. After this initial contact, I sometimes do hear from the loved one themselves. And sometimes, the loved one makes an appointment and comes in after we have talked on the phone.
I find that it is ultimately up to the loved one to make the choice of whether to proceed with their family’s or friend’s suggestion, in this case with homeopathic care. We can lead them to it, but it is up to the loved one whether to go forward or not to go forward.
Homeopathy To Heal
I like to encourage people to use homeopathy as a choice in their health care. People nowadays are looking for a natural and holistic healing that is non-invasive and non-toxic. Homeopathy fits that well. Homeopathy is truly a holism form of medicine. Homeopathy addresses the whole person and each person as the individual they are. We are each unique, and need to receive treatment that fits us, not a one size fits all type of treatment.
The homeopath observes, listens, and witnesses, what bothers the patient. The homeopath wants to how the patient doesn’t feel well; how the pain, the symptoms, and the discomfort are for the patient; and what their suffering is like.
From all of the information that is gathered and observed, a homeopathic remedy is given that is similar to what the person is experiencing. The main principle of homeopathy is the Law of Similars (Like Cures Like). This homeopathic remedy stimulates the person’s own healing ability. There are over 4000 homeopathic remedies. You can see why it is important to go to a trained homeopath, so that the homeopathic remedy that is similar to the person is given, and then a healing can begin.
I invite you, whether it is for yourself or for a loved one, to see how homeopathy can be of help to one’s health, especially if you are not feeling well. Either contact me on this blog or through my website www.homeopathytoheal.com. I would be happy to talk to you.
